Identity of Weekend Crash Victim Released

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the man killed in a weekend car crash on Christmasville Road. According to a news release, Donald Blake Andrews, 22, of Oakfield, was killed when the vehicle he was driving ran off the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire. The crash happened just before 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning. A female passenger in the vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities said her condition was unknown at last check. Law enforcement believes that speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash.
