Freed-Hardeman University welcomes students on move-in day
HENDERSON, Tenn.– Freed-Hardeman University welcomed new and returning students back to campus for the 2022 fall semester.
The FHU community helped students move into their home away from home Saturday, August 13.
Move-in is not only a time for students to get acclimated with campus but also a time to get to know their peers.
Along with move-in day, FHU started their interface program this afternoon after all the students were settled in.
“For most of our students, Freed-Hardeman becomes their first home away from home. A lot of the time mothers or fathers are a little bit nervous. It helps them to be set at ease to realize that they are at a place that their child is going to be loved and is going to belong to this community.” FHU President, David Shannon said.
Freed-Hardeman will begin their classes on August 17th, along with students getting acclimated with the campus before they hit the classroom.
