JACKSON, Tenn. — The first female house speaker for the state of Tennessee ventured into the Hub City on Thursday. Rep. Beth Harwell’s last stop of the day was to meet with members of the Madison County Republican Party to answer questions and address concerns in state government. Harwell also will be attending a town hall meeting in Milan to discuss issues of small town economic development.
