Local judge applies for Tennessee Supreme Court vacancy

JACKSON, Tenn. — Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals Judge Roger Page is among nine people applying to fill a vacancy on the Tennessee Supreme Court. Page previously served as circuit court judge for Madison, Henderson and Chester counties. The opening on the high court was created after Justice Gary Wade retired. A judicial commission, appointed by the governor, will narrow the nominees down to three. From there, Gov. Bill Haslam will make the final decision.
