Nonprofit providing free dental services in Henderson this weekend

HENDERSON, Tenn. — One student at Freed-Hardeman University helped organize free dental health through a well known nonprofit, after previously interning for them.

Remote Area Medical (RAM) came to Henderson and provided free dental services, starting early Friday morning.

Some patients got to the location starting at 7 p.m. Thursday night.

The pop-up clinic will continue to offer services through Saturday, for free.

Clinic Director Brad Hutchens shares the purpose behind RAM.

“We are a nonprofit organization, our mission is to prevent pain and alleviate suffering by providing free healthcare to those in need,” Hutchens said.

The clinic is hosting the pop-up at the National Guard Armory in Henderson.

They’re asking that you wear a mask as they continue providing services in the safest way possible.
