JACKSON, Tenn. — No tricks here — just treats, and advice, for West Tennessee trick-or-treaters. Jackson Transit Authority buses are now equipped with trick-or-treat bags just in time for Halloween. And the bags also reflect light to make for safer trick-or-treating. Before any candy can be stuffed inside, each bag already has tips inside encouraging kids to never go out alone, have parents check their candy, and only go to houses they know. “For the message on the bag, it’s really more directed to the parent, so Jackson Transit Authority is doing two parts — we’re making it a little fun for the children and a little awareness for the parent as well,” said Michele Jackson with JTA. The bags will be given out on all JTA buses starting Thursday.
