2 charged with child abuse after search of Weakley Co. home

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A Weakley County mother and her boyfriend are arrested, and her 19-month old is now in state custody after a search of a home near McKenzie. Katlinn Hutson and her boyfriend, Austin King, both are charged with felony child abuse. Officers say the toddler had bruises on her face, hands, back and throat and bite marks on her arm. Investigators say there also was drug paraphernalia including hypodermic needles in the house. Officers also have charged King in a gun theft in Gleason from earlier this year.
