HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Princesses, pirates, and everything in between hit the road early on Saturday to kick off their Halloween. The Humboldt Boys and Girls Club hosted their first annual Monster Mash Dash, and finished out the afternoon with a carnival full of food, dancing, crafts, and more, all to support the local club. “We were looking for a fundraiser that would involve the community instead of going to people and asking them for money. We thought we would give back a little bit and we thought this would be a great way to do that,” Boys and Girls Club Board Member Gene Simmons said. Simmons said they had more than 100 runners participate and raised more than $4,000 dollars for the club.
