Deputies charge 2 men with scamming elderly woman in Weakley County
WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Investigators have arrested two men on charges of scamming an elderly woman out of thousands of dollars after offering to pressure wash her house. Clarence Worley, 49, and Richard Dave Chamberlain, 44, both are charged with theft over $1,000. Deputies say the men told an elderly woman in July they would pressure wash her home, near Gleason, for $300. After finishing the work, the men charged her $4,800, according to a release from the sheriff’s department. Worley was arrested in Walls, Miss., and Chamberlain was arrested in Greenfield.
