Star Center Veteran’s Parada draws hundreds
JACKSON, Tenn.– Hundreds of people gathered early Saturday morning to kick off Veteran’s Day early. The star center hosted their first annual veteran’s run. The race raised money for the Star Center’s veteran’s program, as well as recognized some of our nation’s finest. “Our community supports veterans and we want to support them not just when they are in the service but when they get back in any of those needs they may have that may arise as they live in Jackson Madison county,” Jonathan Abernathy from the Star Center said. More than 200 runners raced Saturday morning, and some soldiers ran their race in full uniform.
