Annual Jingle Bell Run raises $31,000

JACKSON, Tenn. — If you were by the Ballpark at Jackson Saturday morning, you got an early taste of holiday cheer. The Arthritis Foundation hosted their annual Jingle Bell Run and Walk Saturday morning. People came out all dressed up to help raise awareness for the disease. “It’s very heartwarming to see all these people come out it’s just amazing how many people come out and pour out their hearts and donate money and their time, and just their good will for everybody,” Gary Ferguson said. Ferguson was diagnosed with arthritis when he was 12. The run raised $31,000 which was the goal coordinators had set for this year.
