Truck fire slows traffic Monday along I-40
HAYWOOD COUNTY, Tenn. — Monday traffic along Interstate 40 was brought to a standstill after a truck caught fire. Firefighters responded around noon near exit 60 in the westbound lane. Investigators say there were no injuries. They haven’t said what caused the truck to catch fire.
