Couple charged after baby tests positive for meth

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — The sheriff’s department has charged a man and woman after their infant child reportedly tested positive for meth. Alanna McFall, 19, and Brien Reynolds, 20, are charged with criminal attempt to commit aggravated child abuse, according to a report from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department. The charges stem from an investigation by the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services that began after a referral regarding the infant living with its parents in the Luray community in Henderson County. The DCS provided the sheriff’s office a drug screen from the infant Oct. 23 indicating the child tested positive for meth. The sheriff’s office issued warrants on Nov. 13. McFall and Reynolds were issued a $10,000 bond each.
