Marshall Tucker Band to play Blue Suede Dinner & Auction

JACKSON, Tenn. — Organizers planning the annual Blue Suede Dinner & Auction have announced a legendary Southern rock band will serve as the featured entertainment. The Marshall Tucker Band will perform at the 22nd annual benefit for the Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center, according to a release. The band is known for such hits as “Heard It in a Love Song” and “Can’t You See.” The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, beginning at 5:30 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center near downtown Jackson. Tables of eight are now on sale, and dinner guests will have access to the Exclusive Group/Silent Auction as well as hors d’oeuvres, a plate dinner, live auction and the featured entertainment. Tables can be purchased by calling the Carl Perkins Center at 731-668-4000. Concert tickets only are reserved seating for $40 or a “Me and Three” ticket package of four tickets for $140.
