Weather Update: Friday, November 4 —

Good morning West Tennessee. We have a pretty nice day on the way, though it will be a bit windy. winds will be out of the SSE around 5-15 mph sustained, gusts could top around 25-30 mph. There will be plenty of sunshine with temps warming rapidly through the 60s and 70s. No rain is expected for the day time or early evening hours. Tonight, after sunset however things will change drastically as a strong cold front approaches. Wind is expected to pick up with gusts as high as 35-45 mph. A complex of heavy rain showers and gusty winds will march eastward through the overnight hours primarily. There is a wind advisory set to go into effect after 9PM tonight for the strong gradient winds expected with the front.
