JACKSON, Tenn. — With new stories everyday, you may have missed one.

Characters were seen walking the streets, along with trick or treaters knocking on the doors for some fun treats and candy.

On Monday evening the fun came to end at the Rodeway Inn in Jackson as a shooting took the life of one man.

Confirmations on the death of 32 year old Travis Hulsey came on Thursday, along with the identification of James Brown and Keyanna Massengill who were taken into custody two hours after the shooting, for first degree murder, and other charges.

Jackson Police Department shared that Charles Wilson is also connected to the incident and is currently wanted, but not in custody.

Over 100 inmates are preparing for release after participating in the Tennessee Department of Corrections Re-Entry Resource Fair to gain needed information on services and opportunities to help the inmates stay out of prison.

On thursday evening locals gathered together to participate in the first rockabilly 5k run through the downtown and midtown areas of jackson. The run was such a success that organizers are considering making it an annual event.

One group of students are changing history in Haywood according to a news release, by totaling 88 seniors who have earned the status of ready graduate.

Haywood High chose to honor the students during halftime at their the Haywood Tomcat football game.
