Rest Area Reopens after Fire

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.- There is good new for Interstate 40 travelers. The rest area in West Madison County that closed this weekend after a fire reopened, Monday. The eastbound rest area between mile markers 70 and 72 was shut down Saturday after a fire in one of the bathrooms. TDOT officials said someone lit napkins on fire in the bathroom. No arrests have been made.
