Humboldt Library to offer historical look at Gibson County

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — The Humboldt Public Library is launching a new exhibit to mark a milestone occasion.

Gibson County is celebrating its 200th birthday in 2023.

In honor of the county’s bicentennial, the library will offer a Historical Photo Display beginning Monday, January 9.

The exhibit will feature historical photos from the cities, towns and communities throughout Gibson County.

The library says the images will be changed out monthly, offering a different experience for each month.

The community is invited to visit the library and enjoy a glimpse of the county’s rich history as it moves forward into a new era.

The Humboldt Public Library is located at 115 South 16th Avenue.
