Local author talks about effects of music on veterans
BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — A special program focusing on veterans of the Vietnam War was hosted by the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center in Brownsville, Tuesday. The program featured writer Doug Bradley, who wrote a book focusing on veterans and the impact of popular music on the American experience in Vietnam. The book, entitled “We Gotta Get Out of This Place,” was released on Veteran’s Day.
