Brownsville restaurant offers free Thanksgiving meal
BROWNSVILLE, Tenn.-A restaurant in West Tennessee is giving back this holiday season. Brownsville Family Restaurant on East Main in Haywood County provided a free Thanksgiving dinner Tuesday afternoon. Volunteers prepared a full Thanksgiving meal to anyone that stopped buy for lunch. The family that owns the restaurant and its employees feel that its important to give back to the community. “This means the world to me, to give to the community, ‘hey, I love these people so we just wanna feed whoever is hungry today. You know, bless them with a free meal,” said Carolyn Reed, restaurant owner. This is the second year the restaurant has offered a free Thanksgiving meal to the public.
