James Yeager Gets His Gun License Back

CAMDEN, Tenn. – In a Tactical Response YouTube video, CEO and founder James Yeager had some choice words regarding control stating: “I am not letting my country be ruled by a dictator. I am not letting anyone take my guns. If it goes one inch forward I’m gonna start killing people.” Following the video that went viral, Yeager was forced to surrender his gun carrying permit on the grounds he may cause harm to others. Nearly three months later, he has it back. “I believe that my video sparked a national discussion of ‘okay what is going to happen if things continue down this path?,” he said. Yeager’s YouTube page has more than 75,000 subscribers worldwide and more than 11 million views. Yeager said with great power comes great responsibility. “When I get these letters from these people, housewives, dads, soldiers from these cops that say I saved their life. That’s about the most rewarding thing I can do in my life.” James Yeager said the main principle he teachers his students is to shoot only to save a life, never to take one. Last year alone he taught more than 4,000 police officers, military and civilians gun safety here in the United States and worldwide. He said his guns are only used to hunt those wanting to do harm to others. “I don’t know if you’re a Hemingway fan, but he has a quote, ‘those who have hunted armed men long enough seldom care for anything else… after you hunt people that are hunting you back ,” he said. As for his comments about President Obama being a dictator, Yeager said his comments were in the heat of the moment, but said that heat still burns. “Most folks middle America, we’ll pay our taxes, just leave our guns alone. And it seems they aren’t willing to do that. I am not overly optimistic things are gonna go well,” he said. Yeager said following the debate over gun control policy in Washington and his viral video, business is booming.
