Scattered showers are still moving through portions of West Tennessee near the border with Mississippi. As the cold front trudges across the Mid-South from west to east tonight, we should see drier and cooler air move in bringing temperatures down to the mid and upper 30s by sunrise on Thursday. Clearer skies are expected by the later morning and early afternoon at the very latest, but northwest winds will keep temperatures to the upper 40s and low 50s at the warmest point of the day – right where they should be for this time of year! Dry weather is expected to continue for the rest of the week after Thursday morning until showers return early next week which looks warm and wet for much of the Mid-South leading up to Christmas Eve.
Have a great evening!
