Two Injured in East Jackson Shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital early Saturday morning. Police said they responded to calls of gunfire in the area of 33 Carver Street at around 3 a.m. One man was shot in the leg. The other was shot in the shoulder. Investigators told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News their injuries are not life threatening. Police said they are currently holding one person for questioning.
