Alexander Elem. students end 1st half of school year on holiday high note

JACKSON, Tenn. — Dozens of students ended the first half of the school year Thursday with their annual holiday program.

Alexander Elementary School students in each class from pre-k through fifth grade performed Thursday in front of their peers and family members.

It’s something one grandparent says she enjoys every holiday.

“I like to hear them sing and watch the interactions,” Darla Winters said. “I like to just watch them do their little people thing.”

Jackson-Madison County students will return to school Jan. 5.
