Sources: 3-year-old dies from flu complications

JACKSON, Tenn.-  Tragic news as sources have confirmed a 3-year old child from Trenton died from the flu earlier this week. The Regional Health Department said it is children and adults over 65 and those with chronic diseases such as diabetes are at the highest risk for the flu.
“But it’s important that you don’t delay and get this vaccine because it takes two weeks for the vaccine to really be of any protective value the busiest time of the year for flu in Tennessee is February,” said  Kevin Morris with the Regional Health Department.
