Post Christmas Shoppers Crowd Stores

NORTH JACKSON, Tenn. — Even though Christmas is over, stores like Best Buy are still incredibly busy. “It’s been very busy, it’s been hectic, it’s been more people here. We’ve had probably 46,000 customers to come to this building,” said Best Buy Store Manager, Robbie Rains.

Shoppers have started to take advantage of post-Christmas shopping, redeeming gift cards, and taking care of returns. “My brother and I got two computers and it was what we wanted, but we found something different that we would rather have to better suit what we needed for school,” said shopper Dylan Day.

Many Christmas deals are still in effect even though Christmas is over. “I think that after Christmas sales are the best because whatever is left on the shelf, they’ll have to mark it down so that’s what I’m here for,” said shopper Brandye Johnson.

As far as what sold the most during the holiday season – Apple products. “We had a problem with the ipods. We were out of them for about a day, and then we got them right back in and the apple watches were in on the hour,” said Rains.
