2 from Columbia were killed in Monday night Lamar wreck
PURVIS, Miss. (AP) – The identities of two men killed in a Lamar County traffic accident have been released.
A Lamar County deputy coroner told Mississippi news media that the victims were 24-year-old Matthew Blake Harrell and 26-year-old Cody Hammond, both from Columbia.
They were pronounced dead on the scene of Monday night’s accident.
Authorities said a black Ford Mustang driven by Harrell went off the road and hit a tree. The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
