James Lee “Jimmy” Grace, Jr.

James Lee “Jimmy” Grace, Jr., age 43, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday evening, February 5, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Jimmy was born January 13, 1980 in Memphis, the son of James Lee Grace, Sr. and Sandra Wiley Grace. He was employed as a flooring specialist for a number of years and enjoyed woodworking, shooting guns, painting automobiles and listening to music. He was an outdoorsman who loved being with his friends and family and cooking out. Jimmy was a hard worker who had a big heart and never met a stranger.

Jimmy is survived by his parents, James and Sandra Grace; two sisters, Kim Grace and Cindy Grace; his nephew, Xavier Grace; and his niece, Carly Grace. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carrie Leigh Grace.

Funeral Services for Jimmy will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Jonathan Banks, pastor of Dancyville Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Memphis Memorial Gardens at Bartlett. A visitation for Jimmy will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Brandon McNabb, Billy Jack Culver, Charlie Thompson, Jonah Thompson, Ronnie Parsons and Peter “Skeet” Reagan.
