Police investigate fatal stabbing in west Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are investigating after a man was killed Sunday after being stabbed.

Melvin Henning, 62, died at the scene after being stabbed at McMillan Towers, located at 212 South Fairground Street in west Jackson, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department.

Police say a suspect is in custody at the Criminal Justice Complex pending further investigation.
