Gibson Co. H.S. Students Readying for Vendor Fair

DYER, Tenn.- Students at one west Tennessee high school get a practical lesson in organization. Gibson County High School FFA members organized a Vendor Fair. The students in the agriculture business class brought together over 40 vendors to help them learn a life lesson about networking and creating business contacts. The students developed a budget, and worked with administrators to secure necessary inventory for the day. “We’ve got venders of all causes. We’re gonna be here in some of that you typically wouldn’t expect or you know see them at some other event so we’re really excited and hope that everyone comes out and supports these vendors or make an effort to support our cause,” said Derek Norman, and FFA teacher. Students say they enjoyed getting to learn outside of the classroom.
