Weather Update – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday

With an oncoming cold front still north of West Tennessee, temperatures were able to warm up to highs in the upper 40s and low 50s this afternoon. The cold air, however, will get here eventually bringing a bitter cold start to Wednesday morning. Rain-free conditions will stick around for a while until we get toward the end of the workweek.

With clear skies and light winds, temperatures will drop to the upper teens and low 20s by Wednesday morning. With dry air in place, we’ll warm up quickly reaching high temperatures in the mid and upper 40s during the afternoon.

Our weather will remain dry until Friday morning, when another cold front will begin to move through West Tennessee. This will mean a chance for rain a few thunderstorms for much of the day – especially the morning. We’ll dry out over the weekend but cloud cover may stick around. High temperatures will be limited to the 30s and low 40s Sunday through Tuesday.

Stay warm and have a good night!
