Murder trial begins for man charged in Huntingdon shooting
HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — A murder trial began Wednesday in Huntingdon, nearly two years after a man was shot to death in his home.
Larry Golden is on trial on charges of shooting and killing Houston Brown in February 2014. Golden faces 12 charges including first-degree murder.
The trial is scheduled to run through Saturday.
Two other people are charged in the case. Cedric Harris faces nine counts including first-degree murder while Jonathan Hughes is charged with accessory after the fact. Their trial dates have yet to be set.
