Walmart to close 5 locations in Tenn.

NASHVILLE — Walmart is calling it quits on more than 250 locations including five in Tennessee.

Walmart stores in Nashville, Cornersville, Dover, Chapel Hill, and Loretto will start to close at the end of this month, meaning the end to about 10,000 jobs.

More than 95 percent of the 269 stores being closed are located within an average of 10 miles, of another Walmart location.
