Weather appears to be factoring into the sheriff’s decision.

Tuesday marks six days since Noah was reportedly last seen.

Search crews braved another cold night Monday looking in the woods around Pinson.

Volunteers were called back out Monday evening by Sheriff Weaver in a renewed search effort. Wearing scarves, gloves and heavy jackets, dozens of volunteers boarded buses to help out.

Tom Mapes, Public Information Officer with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, says volunteers are not losing hope. Between 200-300 volunteers searched until around 3 a.m. until the buses used for transportation had to be taken back for school use.

Law enforcement will be searching throughout the day.

Noah reportedly went missing around 1:30 p.m. Thursday while on a nature hike with his grandmother and 4-year-old sister in the woods behind their home, according to Mapes. The grandmother told officers she was paying attention to her granddaughter for a moment and when she looked up, Noah was gone.
