Police searching for teenagers who vandalized neighborhoods
VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) – Police in Vicksburg are searching for teenagers who they say have been vandalizing neighborhoods across the city.
Vicksburg police Lt. Troy Kimble tells WLBT-TV (http://bit.ly/1JZiHOg) the city has had 30 acts of vandalism through the past weekend in roughly about 20 different neighborhoods.
Police say the group of teenagers, armed with pellet rifles and BB guns, has been targeting several quiet streets.
The teens are reportedly shooting out random car and truck windows late at night when they think no one’s watching.
Police have increased patrols and are encouraging residents to keep an eye out to help track down the suspected vandals.
Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact police.
