UPDATE: Provider reports power restored in Obion County

OBION COUNTY, Tenn. — Officials with Gibson Electric Membership Corporation say a downed TVA transmission line is to blame for outages affecting 430 home and businesses.

The affected locations are in Obion County and are served through the Woodland Mills substation, according to a release from the utility.

The outages are reportedly north and northwest of Union City and in and around Woodland Mills.

Gibson EMC personnel are assisting the TVA to restore service.
