Dinosaurs Migrate to Tennessee
Families enjoy indoor fun at the Jurassic Quest
JACKSON, Tenn. — Saturday afternoon there was a long line of people waiting to get a glimpse into the prehistoric world.

With the sun finally out and Friday’s snow starting to melt, folks from all over West Tennessee have come to Jackson to embark on the Jurassic Quest.
“We came out because, this is my grandson, and he loves dinosaurs,” said Cindy Burden. “So we thought this would be something fun and educational for him. Awesome place to be other than outside, and gives us something to do on a Saturday.”
“To escape the cold,” said Candie Hollins. “It’s a little cold outside but its warm in here. We just bundled up and said we’re going to go.”
Jurassic Quest has more than 50 life-size dinosaurs, the largest traveling attraction of its kind.
“It’s a lot more interesting then reading it in a book or seeing it on TV,” said Arnold.
Some families traveled almost an hour just so their kids could have this rare experience.
“Jackson’s never had anything like this before so I think its a good event to bring out families with young kids,” said Katie Jones. “Something different for us to do.”
“It’s great I’m really glad they came to Jackson,” said Tim Chapman. “We don’t see this every day where we’re from.”
“It’s an experience they won’t forget and who knows when we’ll be back and when you’ll be able to see life-like dinosaurs,” Arnold said.
“We really appreciate them coming to our area and I hope they come back because this is a really great opportunity,” said Hollins.
If you haven’t haven’t made your way to the Jackson Fairgrounds yet, you still have until Sunday evening before this Jurassic Quest becomes extinct.
