Martial arts experts take on ‘Mortal Kombat’
JACKSON, Tenn. — Local video gamers had a chance to show off their skills at a local martial arts studio.
Gamers of all ages got together Saturday night at the Fudoshinka Dojo for a tournament playing the video game, ‘Mortal Kombat’. Organizers said they hope events like this can help grow the competitive gaming community throughout West Tennessee.
“…have something for this demographic in the community. We want to expand the fighting game community is not only Jackson, but of course West Tennessee,” Fudoshinka Dojo owner Sherwin Moore said.
Organizers said they’re planning on having another tournament next month and throughout the rest of the year.
