South Side receives commemorative golden football
JACKSON, Tenn. – It’s been nearly six years since Jackson native Jabari Greer earned his Super Bowl ring in 2010 with the New Orleans Saints.
South Side High School will now have something to show for Greer’s contribution on the big stage.
The Hawks are one of hundreds of high schools across the nation that will receive a commemorative Wilson Golden Football for every player or head coach who graduated from their school and was on an active Super Bowl roster.
The gift is part of a Super Bowl 50 celebration that recognizes schools and communities for their assistance to the game of football.
