Cooler Weather Won’t Last for Long

Weather Update – 10:00 p.m. Tuesday
Temperatures are falling below freezing with clearing skies across West Tennessee. Ultimately, low temperatures are forecast for the the mid and upper 20s by sunrise Wednesday morning. Skies will clear out through the day tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 40s. Some cloud cover will still be possible in southwest Tennessee to start Wednesday morning.
Another chilly start is expected Thursday with temperatures in the 20s. Winds returning from the southwest Thursday afternoon through the weekend will put warmer weather in West Tennessee. The average high temperature on March 20th – the first day of Spring – is 64ºF, and this is currently the forecast high on Sunday. Highs in the low to mid 60s will be possible this weekend with a slight chance for rain on Sunday. The next best chance for rain will fall around Tuesday or Wednesday with a possibility for thunderstorms.
