State launches survey to gauge broadband Internet access, usage

NASHVILLE — The state of Tennessee wants your thoughts on Internet speed in your area.

pic-internet.jpgCounties and cities have been posting a link to the Department of Economic and Community Development’s survey.

State Commissioner Randy Boyd is hoping citizens and businesses will take the survey so the state can get a better idea of service. The survey is available until March 15.

They’re hoping to get the results together in the coming months so they can present the data to the governor this summer.
