Milan Police search for armed robbery suspect

MILAN, Tenn. — Officers are investigating a late morning robbery at a Milan Dollar General.

Around 11:55 Sunday morning, a black male entered the Dollar General on the corner of Ellington and South First Streets brandishing a handgun, according to Milan Police. Officers said he forced customers in the store to the ground and demanded money from the clerk at the counter.

The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build and long hair, he was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a mask.
Police have not released if the suspect got away with any money.
Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call Milan PD at (731) 686-3309. A cash reward is being offered for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
