Union Univ. Taking Extra Steps to Help Graduates Find Jobs

JACKSON, Tenn.- The Vocation Center for Life Calling and Career at Union University hosted its 12th annual “Career “U”niversity. The event provided students with career advice and a chance to meet with recruiters. Career “U” is an academic approach to career planning and preparation. This year’s theme, “Engineering, business and technology expo” focused on quality internship and employment opportunities for students. “When our students graduate, we want them to have the opportunity to intern for pay to have part time and full time opportunities of work and we are excited to bring quality companies to do that, ” said Renee Jones of Union University. 15 companies were a part of the event and more than 80 students participated.
