Symphony to host March Classic with special guest

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Symphony is hosting their March Classical with a special guest.

Siwoo Kim

Siwoo Kim is a violinist who plays with stylistic sensitivity and generous tonal nuance.

Kim performs as a soloist and chamber musician. He is also the co-founding Artistic Director of VIVO Music Festival in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

The performance will be of “Passionate Masterworks.”

“I would also encourage people to go to our social media platforms on Instagram and Facebook. Our soloist actually made a video specifically for us here in Jackson about this weekend. And I think that’s just really neat and kind of dives more into some of the pieces that are going to be performed,” said Elizabeth Stokes, the Director of Marketing and Development for The Jackson Symphony.

The event will take place Saturday, March 11 at The Ned and will begin at 7 p.m. The social hour will start at 6 p.m.
