Jackson Christian’s ‘Oliver! The Musical’ set to open at The Ned

JACKSON, Tenn. — Voices from Jackson Christian’s “Oliver! The Musical” will fill the Ned R. McWherter West Tennessee Cultural Arts Center starting Thursday night.

The show has nearly 100 middle and high school students in the production that runs through Sunday afternoon.

The musical’s director said it’s great to see the students come together on the stage.

“I feel like it brings together people of all ages and churches and just people from different parts of the city,” Director of the musical Jenna Britt said during Wednesday’s school performances. “People that live right outside the city can come together, so it’s really neat to get to see how close they get.”
