Weather Update – 10:00 p.m. Wednesday

Temperatures are already dropping into the upper 30s in northwest Tennessee where there wasn’t as much sunshine this afternoon. We’ll return to clearer skies as high pressure continues to push east into West Tennessee tomorrow. A dry stretch of weather is forecast for the Mid-South until next week, when we could see a few snow showers!

Tonight, skies will become clearer with temperatures dropping to the mid and upper 20s with low 30s possible in southwest Tennessee. Lighter winds are forecast from later tonight through Thursday. Under sunny skies, temperatures will only warm up to the low and mid 40s tomorrow.

Clouds will return during the start of the weekend with highs in the low to mid 50s on Saturday and Sunday. After seeing some sunshine on Sunday, West Tennessee has a slight chance for snow early next week. That could still change but we’ll be monitoring the forecast closely. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the very latest updates.

Have a good night!
