“Live at the Carnegie” showcases Jackson’s musical heritage

JACKSON, Tenn.-A concert series kicked off Friday night with a celebration of Jackson’s musical heritage.

“Live at The Carnegie” brought a priceless collection of antique guitars back to life. As the cases opened, blues artist Ricky Ray provided a musical performance.

Organizer John Reitzammer said it is all about bringing the music back to its roots.

“If you talked to any of The Beatles, if you talked to The Rolling Stones, if you talked to almost any European musician who studied and tried to perfect rock and roll, they started with Jackson, Tennessee,” said event organizer, John Reitzammer

All of the proceeds raised tonight, will go back to the Carnegie Museum.
