Flash mob livens up library in downtown Jackson

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Marian the Librarian flash mob broke out Friday at a local library.

Library flash mobThe scene unfolded at the Jackson-Madison County Library downtown where there were 10 kids in the mob and 56 in the production, all from Sacred Heart of Jesus High School.

“I just think it’s great to get out into the community and go into unexpected places, ’cause the last place you’d expect a song and dance is at a library,” said Carrie Prewitt, director of theater and music at Sacred Heart.
