Man accused of firing gunshots, hitting east Jackson house
JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson man is facing charges in connection with a gunshot fired into a house while someone was inside.
According to court papers, Davonte Paige is charged with reckless endangerment for the Saturday incident on Southern Street.
Police say a witness heard five shots and that one hit her house.
Paige was arrested after police saw him leaning inside the driver’s side door of a car across the street where they found .38 caliber shell casings in and around the vehicle. Officers later found a handgun in the car.
Paige is free on a $15,000 bond.
