JACKSON, Tenn.-Jackson names its newest ‘Man of the Year.’

WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News anchor Keli McAlister had the honor of helping with Tuesday night’s ceremony where BancorpSouth President Doug Roth was surprised with the honor of the 2015 ‘Man of the Year’ award.

The Jackson native was praised for his work with countless agencies and non-profits throughout the Jackson area.
Dozens of friends and family were there as the award was presented.

“When I looked back across this room and saw all those faces, it was just amazing to see how many, how much love and support was in the room and in the community,” said Roth.

Roth is the city’s 70th Jackson ‘Man of the Year’. The ceremony is hosted every year by the Jackson Exchange Club.
